Something cool about Cricut Fonts is the writing and Multi-layer Fonts. If you want to stick to free fonts, make sure to filter by “My Fonts” (This will include your system fonts and some Cricut Fonts that Cricut may have free at the moment. If you don’t know what Cricut Access is, read this excellent guide I put together. However, some of them need to be purchased before cutting your project. If you have Cricut Access, you can use most of them. Keep in mind that not all fonts are free. If you want to change the font, click on the Fonts drop-down menu and choose your favorite font. Font TypeĮvery time you type something, Cricut Sans will be the default font. Check out how to use offset to perfection in Cricut Design Space. There are a lot of things you can do with this little tool. If you want your offset to be a single layer, check “Weld Offsets,” but if you don’t, just leave it unchecked. With the exemption to “Basic” and “Wavy,” all operations have a distinctive appearance on the canvas area. From this box, you can change the colors of specific operations (Basic, Wavy, Pen, Foil, & Print then Cut). Next to “Operation,” there’s a little box. Now you can see the design is centered on the mat ready to be cut. You could just scroll down to where the design is and click on it to move the design up into the design space to cut. I typically type 0 (zero) just to get the design into the window. Then type on your computer keyboard a number of where you want the design positioned. Inside the left X box, left click and hold to highlight the numbers. There are three (3) options you could use to move the design:ġ. Doing the same thing we did to resize the design, we will move the design. We will need to change the numbers in both of these boxes in order for the design to show up in Cricut design space. Still on the same toolbar, over further to the right you will find the word POSITION. Once the design is resized, then we will move the design to show on our mat. Use the arrow pointing down that is to the right of the box to change the numbers to make the design smaller. Then type on your computer keyboard the number of the width you want the design to be.Ģ. Inside the left width box, left click and hold to highlight the numbers. ![]() Make sure the little lock next to the word SIZE is closed so you adjust the design proportionally that way you will only need to change one set of numbers. You will change the design size numbers inside one of the boxes, either the width or the height.
